Trump takes victory lap on McCabe firing: 'A great day for democracy'

Source: The Hill

President Trump celebrated the firing of former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe on Twitter, calling it a “great day for Democracy.”

“Andrew McCabe FIRED, a great day for the hard working men and women of the FBI,” Trump tweeted hours after McCabe’s firing on Friday night.

“Sanctimonious James Comey was his boss and made McCabe look like a choirboy. He knew all about the lies and corruption going on at the highest levels of the FBI!” the president continued.

The only thing this shows is the rotten, evil core of the suit in the white house. He must go if this country is to survive. Ryan and McConnell are not doing their jobs in respect to this matter. Would be nice to remove Ryan this year!

Trump is not an ideological creature. He's just a fucking privileged dick.

I want to see Trump's comeuppance--his complete downfall more than I hated Nixon. It is hard to overstate that.

I cannot adequately express the disgust I feel towards this petty, vindictive and unfortunately so powerful little man. I don't know McCabe but he strikes me as an honorable man who tried to do his job the way he thought it should be done. That Trump would personally attack someone who served the U.S. for over 20 years and then pressure his lapdog AG to fire him just before he becomes eligible for his full 20 year pension shows what a small foolish little man they both are.

He has diminished the Presidency to a joke in a little over a year.

Trump is ever the bully boy. Utterly despicable.

He has not been honest to his oath of office or his actions in the office of President. He has lowered our nation's integrity and should not continue to occupy the position.

ENOUGH! I think we have all had enough of him.

The firing may be celebrated in some circles but the fact he couldn't let him retire with his pension intact is just kicking a man when he's already down. This will Not play well.

Why did he fire McCabe?

A day before this man could retire ?

Has McCabe a possibility to sue this circus called "Trump Administration" ?

Now we're ALL watching the story in horror, the eyes of the media are focused on McCabe and pondering the real reason for the firing, and Trump has reinforced his image as a spiteful, evil man. There was no logical reason to fire McCabe when he would have been gone in a day.

Of pure political cruelty to a law enforcement agent that worked 21 years of his life to protect and serve this country, and trump has sessions firing him to keep him from getting his pension. This should send shock waves throughout all law enforcement agencies, and show them the contempt trump and sessions has for the rule of law in this country, and them. The American people need to remember this so when they're pleading for mercy at their sentencing hearing , how cruel they were to others is why they deserve the max sentences for their crimes.

I estimate there are at least 65 million people who would like a chance to throw a rotten tomato or rotten egg at the orange face of TrumPutin.

Might take some doing to get stocks made that will hold such tiny hands and yuuge head.
