Comey Tweets Cryptic Message to Trump: People Will 'Hear My Story Very Soon'

James Comey has taken to Twitter for the first time since Andrew McCabe‘s firing with a direct message for President Trump.

In his lengthy statement on his firing last night, McCabe directly said, “I am being singled out and treated this way because of the role I played, the actions I took, and the events I witnessed in the aftermath of the firing of James Comey. The release of this report was accelerated only after my testimony to the House Intelligence Committee revealed that I would corroborate former Director Comey’s accounts of his discussions with the President.”

Comey, who has a book coming out soon, has not yet tweeted directly about McCabe, but he did send this message to Trump:

Mr. President, the American people will hear my story very soon. And they can judge for themselves who is honorable and who is not.

Anderson Cooper's interview with Stephanie Clifford, the adult film star known as Stormy Daniels, is set to air on "60 Minutes" on Sunday, March 25.

The interview was taped last week. The air date has not been officially announced. But two sources involved with the story told CNN that it has always been slated for March 25.

There have been loud calls -- particularly from Trump critics -- for CBS to televise the interview sooner, given the swirling questions about her alleged relationship with Donald Trump and her acceptance of hush money shortly before Trump was elected president. Trump's lawyer and the White House have denied allegations of an affair.

The newsmagazine routinely takes weeks to edit its stories. In this case, "60 Minutes" producers wanted time to vet the allegations that Clifford leveled in the interview.

to life story of spies, lies and video tape. Our lives are being forever altered by tRump, Putin and god knows who else and we are subjected to these games. I am ready (way past ready) for us to know what the hell is going on. If Comey has information that will start the unraveling of this tale, he should start talking. But then maybe there is no one to trust and he has to do it in book form? But then again, he had to trust someone in publishing to do it that way.

No matter what, every day the truth is delayed is another day we are being sold out by tRump. It is frustrating as hell to think that there are people who know the truth who are keeping it from us. Former FBI director James Comey fired back at President Donald Trump Saturday, vowing that his upcoming revelations will allow the American people “to judge for themselves who is honorable — and who is not.”

Comey tweeted minutes after the president crowed again on Twitter about his Friday firing of FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe, who the president said was “caught.” Trump added: “How many lies? How many leaks? Comey knew it all, and much more!”
