Sarah Palin Calls For 3rd Party Candidate In MO-SEN
Source: TPM
Sarah Palin didn't back Todd Akin in the three-way Missouri Republican Senate primary, throwing her weight behind Sarah Steelman instead. And now that Akin's all alone after deciding to stay in the race despite the urgings of most of the GOP establishment, Palin says it's time for a new candidate.
Via Christian Heinze, Palin said "If he [Akin] doesn't do it [drop out], then it's going to be third party then."

(28,158 posts)I don't know of any way to do that this late in the game. There's signatures to gather, paperwork to file and a deadline to meet. Which I believe has already passed, unless there's some super secret law in Missouri I'm unaware of.

(39,577 posts)Missouri has a Sore-loser law. A sore-loser law is a law which states that the loser in a primary election can't then run as an independent in the general election.

Sarah....really. Reality check time. It's long past the point in your life where you should have figured out what you're good at. So shut the fuck up; stop offering unsolicited advice. Take your ignorant, overrated ass back to Chigger Ridge, Alaska and watch the Russians from your porch while you ponder just what that might be.

Since her analysis is so scintillatingly brilliant and insightful, it must be tried for the sake of the nation she so dearly loved and wanted to secede from.

Of course, their not going to attract a lot of Democrats, but hell, you don't want socialist voting for good conservatives anyway.
