The Hill: Judge rejects Trump's bid to block access to Cohen materials

Source: The Hill

A federal judge dealt a blow to Michael Cohen, the president’s embattled personal lawyer, in a closely watched court decision on Monday afternoon.

Judge Kimba Wood of federal District Court in Manhattan denied an attempt by Cohen and President Trump to stop prosecutors from reviewing the materials that the FBI seized from his office, home and hotel room last week, according to multiple reports.

Cohen's legal team had asked for a temporary restraining order so that they could review the files and then turn over to prosecutors those that were "responsive, non-privileged items" — a request the government called unprecedented.

But in a victory for Cohen, Wood did order the government to create a database of what was taken from Cohen and share it with his legal team, according to The Associated Press.

Wood did not make a final decision on Cohen's request that she appoint a neutral third party known as a “special master” to sift out privileged materials.

...but sooner or later the Judge has to rule whether the documents meet the requirements of the crime/fraud exception-otherwise they can't be admitted into evidence. No party has an unqualified right to introduce evidence. They must establish the admissibility of the allegedly privileged evidence under Federal Rule of Evidence 501. Mueller knows he has to meet those standards

Cohen and thus the F'n MORON and his team (team may be a stretch, say guy) will learn what the raid gathered from Cohen and also learn that he's been under a FISA wire for months. What the Moron's team will learn is that they The Fn MORON is Fucked 6 ways to Sunday. There will be so much current and historical corruption under investigation that The Fn MORON will lose sleep and Cohen will have to seriously consider cutting a deal.

When they know what's been taken The F'n MORON will try to dole out pardons. But, that may be tough on both the Federal and State level.

Sweet dreams.

Before they let it out he's thinking about replacing the judge , or someone who can get her replaced. If there is a way, his criminal attorney's will discover it for him. He thinks he's above the rule of law because he is the President. Their corruption is running wild out of the White House and this administration now.
