Rudy Giuliani insists Trump wasn't aware of Stormy Daniels reimbursement until recently

Source: NBC News

President Donald Trump only recently found out that he reimbursed his personal attorney, Michael Cohen, for a $130,000 nondisclosure agreement with adult performer Stormy Daniels just days before the 2016 election, his lawyer Rudy Giuliani claimed Thursday.

In a telephone interview with NBC News, Giuliani insisted he only shared details of the payment with Trump about a week ago.

“I don't think the president realized he paid him (Cohen) back for that specific thing until we (his legal team) made him aware of the paperwork,” he said.

Giuliani said the president responded, "‘Oh my goodness, I guess that's what it was for.’”

...to keep their politically damaging stories mum without you needing to be looped in on the conversation it's okay?

I don't even know if that could be called a first world problem.

Seriously they should keep Rudy off the air but then again he has until about 4pm today to make good on his prediction that this would all be over in "a couple of weeks"

He still had the affair, still lied about it, still runs his life like a mob boss. Anyone who gives passes for these things is just in it for their own advantage. Especially the Evangelicals who should have much better scruples.

Really Rudy???? That's the lamest excuse since "the dog ate my homework".

Egads, he's a caricature of ridiculousness. Has he no self-respect? Don't answer that. That was a rhetorical question.

He didn't want the bank to flag large payment sums for review. It's not like Mr. "Forbes Billionaire" couldn't have paid that as a lump sum, but they were trying to keep it a secret!

"Trump doesn't have time to keep track of all his bidness..." ...because he's too busy golfing and humping random sex workers when he's away at Whore-A-Lot-Go and doesn't want to be bothered with the frivolous transaction details.

So Presidential.

Don’t answer that.

The problem for tRump is that no self respecting attorney wants to come within 10 miles of him. So that leaves him only the lamest of the lame or the most dishonest characters this side of Alcatraz.

The question on the lips of many people is “What has happened to Rudy?” He was America’s Mayor less than 20 years ago. The darling of the news media. And now? He is a growling, snarling demagogue. He is unrecognizable.

The appearances he has made on news shows this past week indicate a man who has suffered some kind of terrible break with the guy from 9-11. This behavior might tend to take some of the shine off the image he had back then.

"When asked how many payments Trump had made, Giuliani told NBC News the president started paying Cohen back in January 2017 and that altogether there were “about 12 installments of $35,000 each.”

The money, totaling an estimated $420,000, also covered other expenses and fees for Cohen, Giuliani said, but he was unable to provide details."

Cohen and Giulani don't have details...even though Cohen was the guy doing the details so Traitor Tot wouldn't need to...

Isn't there some kind of school lawyers have to go to first before they actually do lawyering?
