Trump Warns West Virginians Against Voting For GOP Senate Frontrunner: 'Remember Alabama'

Source: Mediate

President Donald Trump has… learned… from a mistake…?

The Tweeter-in-Chief informed the West Virginia populace Monday morning that they should not vote Don Blankenship for Senate.

Blankenship released a truly heinous campaign ad Friday attacking Mitch McConnell, calling him “Cocaine Mitch” and claiming he got rich off of “China people” and his “China family.” Nonetheless, Blankenship has surged ahead in the polls ahead of Tuesday’s primary.

Trump endorsed Alabama’s Roy Moore for Senate even after allegations came out about Moore molesting young girls. Democrat Doug Jones ended up winning the seat.

Though the two situations are not directly comparable – Moore was the incumbent and Blankenship is looking to win a primary to challenge Democratic incumbent Joe Manchin – Trump made the point that a candidate burdened by public backlash will not be as strong as a candidate whose skeletons are still in the closet. (I’d say someone who doesn’t have any skeletons, but this is politics, folks – not gonna happen.)

WVA does not allow do-overs, so if he loses - he's done.

I hope he wins so he can lose later. Badly.

Trump endorsed the pedophile in the election, just like he'll endorse the murderer when it's his turn.

That was Jeff Sessions' seat and Moore's primary opponent Luther Strange, was the (appointed) "incumbent".

But maybe one can pretzel twist it into Moore having won the GOP primary ("incumbent winner of a primary" ) vs Blankenship trying to win the primary.

Where the hell are the coal mining jobs, Cheeto? Why should anybody listen to you.

On the other hand, Hillary told them the truth - the coal mining jobs are gone and they're not coming back. And they hated her for it.
