Joe Biden slams White House over Trump aide's remark about John McCain's illness: Decency

has hit rock bottom".
"People have wondered when decency would hit rock bottom with this administration. It happened yesterday," Biden said in a statement to NBC News.
"John McCain is a genuine hero a man of valor whose sacrifices for his country are immeasurable. As he fights for is life, he deserves better so much better," Biden said in the statement. "Given this White House's trail of disrespect toward John and others, this staffer is not the exception to the rule; she is the epitome of it."

I've never been the biggest McCain fan, but I am a decent and kind person. I admire McCain for the fight he is going through and his ability to still get in the fight for what he thinks is right.
I don't know this woman or even what she looks like, but I hope she never has to tackle the kind of disease McCain is fighting. Her spirits will probably be low and a comment like she made publicly about McCain will further crush her spirit. Think about that, lady. When it comes to severe illnesses and potential death, jokes pretty much fall flat.
Your "joke" was cruel.

I have huge disagreements with Mr. McCain. And I think he's had his own heartless moments in his life. I also know he's had moments so horrible I'm not sure I'd survive. God knows he grew up in a family where being Admiral was probably the minimum expected accomplishment.
But what he went through, and what he's going through now, I would not literally wish upon my worst "enemy". I wouldn't wish it upon Trump. Would I like to have a conversation with McCain about now about the people who have suffered as much as he has, and is, and how the government should be treating them? Absolutely. Would I insult him in the process? No. Would I appeal to his humanity? Sure. Would I strive to make him feel less? No.

Maher, in his closing last night, compared this bunch to a Mafia gang and it was dead on.
How low can they go is the question and how long do the Fox zombies accept this?
