Anita Hill: Senate GOP handling of Kavanaugh accusations is 'a real mockery'

Anita Hill on Wednesday said she's seen similarities in how her 1991 testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee was handled and how Christine Blasey Ford is being treated ahead of her highly anticipated appearance before the panel Thursday.

Hill, who appeared before the committee when she accused Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment, described the handling of claims against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh as a "real mockery," The Salt Lake Tribune reported.

“That’s a commentary really on values,” Hill said at a Utah event focused on ending sexual harassment. “I hope that we can all be open to hearing [Ford] and evaluating based on what we hear and without the lens of the myths that have followed this hearing.”

Hill reiterated that she believes Ford, who accused Kavanaugh of pinning her to a bed and groping her during a 1980s high school party, and said that she does not think she will not receive a fair assessment of her claims without an FBI investigation and the testimony of additional witnesses.

Trump and his minions in Congress want people to believe Dr Ford has been planing to do this to kavanaugh for over thirty years , and its all a con job now. They want people to believe she's a liar even though she wants an FBI investigation, trump and his minions don't, She wants all witnesses to be available, trump and his minions don't, She wants it to be protected , and they call her a liar and incite people against her. Now trump is trying to con people into believing he'll listen then make a decision, when we know that's BS.He has them all ready and encouraged to have this hearing then vote him thru. trump and kavanaugh are the liars now , and trumps history is so bad with his lying , and as we've seen kavanaugh is one too. He refuses to want the FBI involved , or have them perform a lie detector test for him like one was done with Dr. Ford and others. She has a long history of this incident with others involved to show it did happen, and they want to call her a liar. The truth will prevail , and trump , the gop , and kavanaugh are proving her case for her, and prove he is a liar , and a sexual predator , and corrupt. Trump has probably an idea what else is coming , so he'll claim the opposite again he never wanted him for that position, or claim its all a hoax from the Democrats.
