Trump and Rosenstein postpone meeting until next week to avoid intefering with Kavanaugh hearing, White House says

The meeting between President Trump and Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein was scheduled for the same day as a Senate committee hearing on Christine Blasey Ford’s sexual assault allegation against Supreme Court nominee Brett M. Kavanaugh.

“They do not want to do anything to interfere with the hearing,” White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said.
