Shortly before leaving the White House to travel to Wheeling, West Virginia for another MAGA rally, President Donald Trump told reporters that he doesnt see the need to have a backup plan when it comes to Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, who he expects is a high-quality person.
The FBI as you know is all over, talking to everybody. And I would expect he is a very high-quality person. I would expect it is going to turn out very well for the judge, Trump told reporters on the White House lawn. Theres never been anybody thats been looked at like Judge Kavanaugh. I think that it is going to work out very well. In a rare bit of praise for the FBI, he also said the agency was going a great job and stressed they have free rein.
The FBI I believe is doing a really great job, he said. They have been all over already. They have free rein, theyre gonna do whatever they have to do, whatever it is they do, theyll be doing things we never even thought of and, hopefully, at the conclusion everything will be fine.
Then after turning to the midterms, Trump said this: I really believe when the public looks at the situation thats taken place in the last three or four days and what the Democrats are doing and more importantly how theyre acting so terribly, so dishonestly, keeping papers and documents, not releasing them until after hearings are over, I really think the Republicans are picking up a lot.

(177 posts)Because he has, like a very small brain.
She explained the timeline starting in July, how she wanted anonymity, called the the WP tip line, contacted Feinstein, hoping Brett wouldnt even get nominated, etc. When his confirmation appeared inevitable, she came forward.
Its pretty obvious that Brett, while waiting for his turn to talk, didnt listen to her testimony. Or Graham, or the other repubs.
Im betting he doesnt get confirmation. He is a sexual predator.
Ive suggested to the White House that he nominate merrick Garland.

(41 posts)Read More: Sen. Jeff Flake, Republican of Arizona, who led an 11th hour move in the Senate committee for an FBI inquiry, said he thought the bureau would decide how to carry it out. His Democratic colleague Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island said he expected the FBI probe to include "adequate staffing," support from the committee for "rapid immunity and subpoena decisions as needed, plus the ability to investigate claims of a "penchant for drunkenness and inappropriate treatment of women, particularly where specifically related to incidents under investigation."

(11,885 posts)You know "The Lying King" has more than likely already planned who next to nominate, and he probably has already given up on Kavanaugh after the horrible showing , and now why the FBI investigation is going on. He's also scared of losing so many women voters, but he'll never get them back. They can't and won't ever trust him again, and neither will many other groups who realize he conned them now too. Dr Ford is a National Hero for coming forward and testifying, and many more will come forward against him , and show how badly this was done. Trump failed really , really badly nominating such a horribly flawed candidate, that he approved . Shows also how corrupt trump is to nominate him. Criminals like other criminals.
