Michelle Obama: 'I'd never forgive' Trump for 'birther' conspiracy

Source: The Hill

BY JOHN BOWDEN - 11/08/18 11:17 PM EST

Former first lady Michelle Obama reportedly rips President Trump's spreading of the "birther" conspiracy theory against her husband in her upcoming book.

In excerpts from her memoir “Becoming" obtained by The Washington Post, Obama says she will "never forgive" Trump for the "xenophobic" claims that her husband, former President Obama, was not actually born in America.

"The whole thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed," the former first lady writes. "But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks."

“What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family’s safety at risk. And for this I’d never forgive him," she continues.

I love her so much. When the Obama administration ended we not only lost a great President, we also lost a wonderful First Lady.

What can be added that hasn't already been said numerous times? The real question is what are the people going to do about it? Must we console ourselves that have recaptured the House and work toward the defeat of Trump and the Republican Party in 2020? The Trump administration is a rogue cabal of some of the most immoral people to ever be in power. Trump makes Nixon and Reagan look like choir boys in comparison. It is frustrating to have to tolerate these monstrosities in power and be able to do so little about the situation. It is somewhat analogous to the innocent people who have been murdered by psychopaths in mass shooting. The are virtually helpless to resist. The people are being assaulted day after day by these immoral sociopaths who have captured control of the government and continue to abuse their authority for personal gain.

Go to Steve Pieczernik's You tube site, he is still spreading the conspiracies. Obama's mother was the real culprit, she was working with the deep state CIA. I don't know why Pieczernik's name hasn't surfaced in this Russian collusion. He is an Alex Jones contributor and he predicted a lot of Wikileaks stuff before they happened. He called Trump's win a counter coup to Hillary's coup.

His site is extremely scary. He claims that Trump has the military with him and that Trump is ensconced in power and no one will be able to take him down. I know Halloween is over but I watched one of his latest videos and it scared the living shit out of me.

It's a measure of just how debased the office of POTUS has become that most of us would accept Dubya back right now. As bad as he was - and he was bad - I don't recall Dubya's administration indulging in the hate-mongering, the unashamed racism, the misogyny, the blatant homophobia, the sickening pandering to and elevation of semi-literate bigots and yobs, the complete contempt for truth and the free press, and the downright arrogant cruelty that spews forth from the White House now. We are seeing an entirely new form of 'politics' ensconced in the highest seat of government. It is a truly disturbing development and people need to be vigilant.

courageous of her to do so. Just her writing that will bring down more hatred and anger from deplorables toward her, her family and people of color generally; but that will be the deplorables ultimate undoing.
