Source: Axios
A Los Angeles judge has granted actress Mareli Minutti a restraining order against attorney Michael Avenatti, who she alleges dragged her by her arm across the floor of his Los Angeles apartment and shouted expletives at her, calling her "ungrateful," the AP reports.
Details: Avenatti, who was arrested last week on a felony domestic violence charge, says the allegations are completely false and fabricated.

It's to be hoped that the truth emerges, one way or another, especially if he continues in the public spotlight with respect to politics.

(25,586 posts)In her request for a restraining order against Avenatti, Miniutti said she was wearing only a T-shirt and underpants when he grabbed her by the arm and dragged her out of the bed. The order was granted Monday.

The information you just posted is not in the article I'm seeing.
Another poster provided a link that had much more detail. So I'm good.

Not attacking the porn star, although it is a pretty exploitative industry.

(33,135 posts)Still skeptical of the extent of the reported abuse. I am surprised Avenatti would put himself in a position so easily open to a classic extortion scheme.

(12,618 posts)To hitting her with pillows to dragging her and calling her ungrateful. I will hold final judgement until more evidence is presented, and if he is, in fact, guilty, he will get no pass from me.
But it's seriously starting to look more and more like a frame up and a hit job. It's what Republicans do. John Kerry, Al Franken, Hillary and Bill, Robert Mueller, Acorn, and the 50 billion things they tried to pin on Obama. Yeah. Color me very skeptical. This is standard Repuke operating procedure.
