Trump tells crowd in birthplace of Elvis he looked like the singer growing up

Source: CNN

President Trump gave Elvis a shout-out in Tupelo, which he called the “proud birthplace of the King of Rock n Roll.”

“You’ll say I’m very conceited,” Trump said, adding, “Other than the blond hair when I was growing up they said I look like Elvis.”

It is almost uncanny how much Trump lies about himself.

Of course, now he just looks like the singer in 1977 - but with none of the talent.

Cheeto looks like that; but again, with none of the talent and feeling Elvis had even in decline.

did you ever see his acoustic live performance from 1972?

that elvis was the elvis we would all like to remember, but then 5 short years later; a massive slide down hill due to paranoia and huge amounts of drugs

this is not the performance I was talking about but it still gives a great idea of what he once was in 1972...

I don't recall ever seeing it. Like most people, the one I remember from that era was the '68 Comeback.

And you're right: you have to take care of yourself; no one else can, really.

Of course though, try telling that to Cheeto. "I'm just 239," he'll bellow.

Yeah, right. His cholesterol!

But whither the thought.

That would only leave us with Sir Fetus Funeral - and a thoroughly undeserved wave of sympathy that could carry his medievalist butt to election in his own right.

I'd much rather see Cheeto complete his one term, go down in ignominious defeat, and then of course end up in Ft. Leavenworth where he belongs.

He could share a cell with Ivanka; I bet he'd like that.

better as you say, he goes down in ignominious defeat.

but sadly, his orange followers would always claim "fake news" in the face of overwhelming facts.

If anything happens to the Rotten Orange, health-related or not, the internets will be clogged with bellowing over how he was "done in by the Deep State!" (and of course Soros).

These are the same people, mind you, that will attack and vilify anyone suggesting that Kennedy was done in by the CIA. We'll probably never know if that's true or not, of course; but I'd find it a lot more credible that claims that Cheeto, in case of a serious health event, was the victim of foul play.

They'll never admit the man just ate, drank, and flustered himself to death. I'm sure Melania's looking forward to that.

Toasted or grilled in a pan in butter.

I ate PBBs when I was a kid, but they weren't toasted or grilled or deep-fried. They are hard to eat because they are so thick in texture. PB and apple is tastier and the crunch of the apple keeps the sandwich from being hard to chew. I still eat PB and apple.

I'm sure Elvis ate plenty of other deep-fried stuff.
