It was called the Cultural Revolution and it killed, tortured, and imprisoned millions.

Harvesting in a trade war: U.S. crops rot as storage costs soar
Mark Weinraub, P.J. Huffstutter

(Reuters) - U.S. farmers finishing their harvests are facing a big problem - where to put the mountain of grain they cannot sell to Chinese buyers.

For Louisiana farmer Richard Fontenot and his neighbors, the solution was a costly one: Let the crops rot.

Fontenot plowed under 1,000 of his 1,700 soybean acres this fall, chopping plants into the dirt instead of harvesting more than $300,000 worth of beans.

The former was in late '50's until 1962.
The latter came after and ended in 1976 with Mao's death.

Kudlow, Navarro and Moore are either all well past their best before date and as demented as he is, or else they really are trying to set him up for a great fall. Tariffs and tax cuts are not only harming millions of Americans and businesses, but they are also severely damaging American friendships worldwide. And yes, this is making tRump's bestie, Putin, very very happy.

tRump's day of reckoning can't come soon enough.

The interim relief they're getting is from him undoing the stupid thing he did after everyone warned him of the consequences for farmers.

What he's doing now is what he needed to do before he hurt the farmers: diplomacy and negotiation.

The problem now is he remains an idiot and China will probably clean his clock.
