Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg released from hospital after cancer surgery

The US supreme court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has been released from the hospital after undergoing cancer surgery, a court spokeswoman said on Wednesday.

“Justice Ginsburg was discharged from the hospital yesterday and is recuperating at home,” Kathy Arberg said in a statement.

There was no evidence of any remaining disease after the removal of the two nodules, both of which were found to be cancerous, Arberg said on Friday, citing the thoracic surgeon, Dr Valerie Rusch. No further treatment was planned, she said.

6. Let's be realistic. No, she's not as good as new.

She is in her 80s and just had major surgery in her lung for cancer. Her 3nd time having cancer. She is medicated and weak. I know that because every human body would be under those circumstances.

But she didn't have cancer in her brain, so if she's not heavily medicated, she should be able to have discussions on the new important case that was just handed to the SCT. This is scary, no matter how you look at it. William Rehnquist cont'd to serve on the SCT despite his age and failing health, until he finally was missed participating in over 40 cases, while out being treated for cancers. He died while still in the SCT.

Hopefully she can make it to 2020, and we win in 2020.
