On one of the coldest days in Chicago history, someone put 70 homeless people up in a hotel

Rachev said she received a call from the city asking her to help provide shelter for around 70 people. But later she got another call saying it was no longer necessary -- because a Good Samaritan had offered to pay for hotel rooms.

their fellow unfortunate humans. They are the people that we always need to remember for their generosity and humanity.

in any area experiencing this deadly cold. Get the homeless off the streets - humans AND animals!

to keep people from freezing. They have mattresses on the floors. Guess the fire marshal is turning a blind eye to save lives.
