Trump nominates Jeffrey Rosen to replace Rod Rosenstein at DOJ

Source: Marketwatch

WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump on Tuesday nominated Jeffrey Rosen to be the next deputy attorney general.

Rosen is currently the deputy transportation secretary and oversees the department’s day-to-day operations.

He also served as general counsel and a senior policy adviser at the White House Office of Management and Budget from 2006 to 2009.

Rosen previously worked as a senior partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP — the same law firm as the new attorney general, William Barr.

According to MSNBC, he has zero experience when it comes to judicial matters, sounds like a typical tRump pick to dilute the investigation

3. I only hope he isn't a total tool for tRump, he is defiantly no Rosenstein but time will tell.

I saw that Wiki page you posted and thought, “Hm, surprisingly solid pick for a corrupt traitor.” It figures he would pick an inexperienced crony who works for his compromised stooges.

Or am I missing where he said that.

It was September of last year that Individual-1 wanted Rosenstein to depart -- Trump postpones meeting with Rosenstein amid speculation over deputy attorney general's future That turned out to be a nothingburger, but placated Individual-1 all the way up to today.

Fingers crossed that this is all a ploy to keep the gears churning while more big arrests take place.
