BEIRUT/DUBAI (Reuters) - White House adviser Jared Kushner made a whirlwind visit this week to rally U.S.-allied Gulf Arab allies to support his still- unannounced Middle East peace plan, the leaked contours of which suggest little has been done to address Arab demands.
Kushners approach to ending the Israeli-Palestinian conflict does not appear to have progressed since his last regional tour in June, focusing largely on economic initiatives at the expense of a land-for-peace deal long central to the official Arab position, two sources in the Gulf told Reuters on Wednesday.
Palestinians have refused to discuss any peace blueprint with the United States in the wake of President Donald Trumps recognition of Jerusalem as Israels capital in 2017, while some Arab leaders have publicly rejected any deal that fails to address Jerusalems status or refugees right of return.
Kushner, who is President Donald Trumps son-in-law, met with leaders in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Oman this week. He arrived in Turkey on Wednesday.

Breitbart had to be told by Trump to cut back on criticizing Jared.

(53,955 posts)The right "loves" Jews because we are a part of their end times prophecies. Those who don't ascribe to that fantasy "love" Israel because it is a useful tool against the Arab dictatorships and monarchies, many with ties to Russia, so a continuing "cold war" of sorts. Those types have no love for Jews, but tend not to be like the third RW group, the hardcore anti-Semites, who "love" Israel, in the same way they "love" Africa, they see both places as somewhere they can send "undesirables", Jews and Black Americans, respectively. While the right does love its anti-Semitic conspiracies, the left is not too far behind, though they usually couch it in different dog whistles than the right.
