According to New Yorker reporter Gabe the Sherman, former Fox News owner Rupert Murdoch asked President Donald Trump to use U.S. resources to investigate his former wife.

Sherman was the author of the recent expose on how Fox News has become state-sponsored television. Speaking to MSNBC host Chris Hayes, Sherman knocked the network for attacking his reporting on the story.

“Can we revel in the fact that a Fox News producer is saying a story doesn’t pass muster on a network that spews misinformation and lies every day,” Sherman said. “That shows you the lengths they went to cover up to help Donald Trump win. We knew in 2016 there was an alliance after Trump got the Republican nomination that Fox News was going to become what ultimately became state TV. That’s what the audience wants. They were beholden to the Trump base, which formed basically the entire Fox News audience. They had no power, even if they wanted to break with Donald Trump, that would be game over for their business.”

“The Democratic Congress might want to find out what favors did the Murdoch family get because of this access,” Sherman said. “I’ve reported in the past that Trump asked Rupert Murdoch to submit names for the S.E.C. Chairman. In fact, Rupert Murdoch reached out to Donald Trump and asked if his ex-wife, Wendy Murdoch, was a Chinese spy. Trump talked to the intelligence agencies about her connections to the Chinese government.”

Ivanka Trump is vacationing with Rupert Murdoch’s ex-wife, Wendi Deng Murdoch, who is rumored to be dating Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Trump posted a photo of the two in Croatia on Sunday.

Deng Murdoch introduced Trump to her eventual husband, Jared Kushner, according to People magazine.

Rumors swirled in March that Deng Murdoch was linked to the Russian president, according to Us Weekly.

Ivanka Trump is taking a break from the campaign trail to vacation with friends.

Deng Murdoch was actually responsible for setting up Trump and Kushner.

“Everything she has is available to her friends, which, believe me, is not common,” Trump told Vogue earlier this summer of her friend. “There’s nothing that doesn’t interest her, and she can hit five topics in a 35-second conversation. Trump’s vacation comes less than a month after introducing her father at the Republican National Convention and the GOP presidential nominee teasing that his daughter would be the first woman he’d name to his cabinet.

Ivanka met with the former Mrs. Murdoch in Dubrovnik in 2016 during the election campaign and when Wendy was rumored to be dating Putin.
I believe there was a Russian super yacht in port in Dubrovnik when the girls were there. I think I read it was Deripaska's yacht.

He's not a "former" owner. That was one of the few entities that he kept when all the selling and breakup of that whole "Fox" media conglomerate was happening and pieces were further spun off afterwards. He is still involved in partial ownership and control of Faux Snooze.
