Exclusive: Trump fixer Cohen says he helped Falwell handle racy photos

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Months before evangelical leader Jerry Falwell Jr.’s game-changing presidential endorsement of Donald Trump in 2016, Falwell asked Trump fixer Michael Cohen for a personal favor, Cohen said in a recorded conversation reviewed by Reuters.

Falwell, president of Liberty University, one of the world’s largest Christian universities, said someone had come into possession of what Cohen described as racy “personal” photographs — the sort that would typically be kept “between husband and wife,” Cohen said in the taped conversation.

According to a source familiar with Cohen’s thinking, the person who possessed the photos destroyed them after Cohen intervened on the Falwells’ behalf.

The Falwells, through a lawyer, declined to comment for this article.

According to a story at Raw Story, which is likely based on this story by Reuters, Michael Cohen has one picture. If the information in the Raw Story article turns out to be true I will not be surprised. As I read the article I wondered if Michael Cohen had kept copies of the pictures.

In the recordings, Cohen described seeing one of the photographs.

“I actually have one of the photos,” Cohen said. “It’s terrible.”

Remember that the Falwells inexplicably bought a Miami Beach hostel to be run by some young fella who worked at a hotel. He'd been, uh, travelling with them and partying with them (imagine how much fun that would be, partying with the Falwells), and then they up and bought him this hostel for $1.8 million or so.

There is also supposedly a photo of Trump shaking hands (that's all!) with the pretty pool boy at Liberty U. And Cohen was involved in getting Falwell to endorse Trump.

Wonder what the "racy" photos are... the sort that should be "between a husband and wife", hee hee.
