Citing Economy, Trump Says That 'You Have No Choice but to Vote for Me'

MANCHESTER, N.H. — President Trump doubled down on his economic argument for re-election on Thursday night amid increasing concerns about a recession, declaring that even Americans who hate him “have no choice” but to vote for him because otherwise the stock market will collapse.

With markets already wobbling over fears of a slowdown amid an escalating trade and currency war with China, Mr. Trump flew to a battleground state to defend policies that are rattling many businesses and investors and to insist that he will prolong the country’s decade-long economic expansion into a second term.

“You have the best unemployment, you have the most successful state in the history of your state and the history of our country,” he told a campaign rally in Manchester, N.H. “And then you’re going to vote for somebody else? Oh great. ‘Let’s vote for Elizabeth “Pocahontas” Warren. We have the best numbers we’ve ever had — let’s vote for somebody else.’”

His speech was at times a greatest hits album of favorite lines, replaying the 2016 campaign against Hillary Clinton and bashing the news media, Democrats and America’s allies in Europe. Typically rambling, veering on and off script seemingly at random over an hour and a half, he repeated points he had already made earlier in the evening as if he did not remember already making them.

3. A Collapse is Already Gonna Happen

Markets don’t go up forever, recessions always follow expansions. Obama rescued us and created a 10 year expansion. Tax cuts transferred money from government to commerce giving it an extra boost.

That money is spent, Trump is just conspiring with his people to prevent a collapse from happening until 2021, but publicly warning of the inevitable now.

When he says he’s gonna steal all your money believe him. The swindle is over, the money is gone. Now people are gonna start finding out.

We are watching him fuck up the economy and balloon the deficit and like Charlie Sheen--he thinks he's winning.

The tax cut, insisting that the Fed should lower rates, the tariffs hammering our manufacturing sector, his support for Brexit (probably the worst self inflicted economic wound in history)... If Obama hadn't done so much to put the economy back into solid shape we'd probably be in a global depression by now.

The really sad and very scary thing is that he actually believes his own BS.
