The forecast for Hurricane Dorian keeps becoming more ominous and serious, particularly in Florida, even as the specifics as to exactly where it will strike remain highly uncertain.

Dorian steadily strengthened Thursday night and Friday, growing into “an extremely dangerous” Category 4 storm with winds of 130 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center. This intensification trend is forecast to continue.

In its 8 p.m. advisory, the Hurricane Center wrote that “... Additional strengthening is forecast, and Dorian is anticipated to remain an extremely dangerous hurricane while it moves near the northwestern Bahamas and approaches the Florida peninsula into early next week.” The upgrade to Category 4 intensity occurred after the 8 p.m. advisory was issued, after a NOAA Hurricane Hunter aircraft measured stronger winds in the storm.

By the time Dorian bears down on the northwestern Bahamas on Sunday and Florida on Labor Day, it is forecast to maintain Category 4 strength with winds of 130 to 140 mph.

As of this morning it looks like it very well make a northward turn and skirt the Florida coast. Good news for Florida, bad news for the Carolinas, although it should weaken considerably by the time it makes landfall. Still a lot of rain, which is bad news for low lying areas prone to flooding.

That is if Mar a Lago is hit and the Con Artist in Chief happens to be there.
It appears that God has decided to enter the debate.
Also, FunFact for Sunday: The latest biblical research strongly indicates that if Jesus were alive in the u.s. today he would not be a Christian because of the GOP.

Marsh Harbour, Murphy Town, and Dundas Town Abaco are all reporting mass devastation – Communities destroyed and citizens left homeless

“The place is a disaster, no business is operable and bodies are floating around Big Cat. The concern is nobody knows how many people died, and they feel when the water subsides some bodies will be washed out to sea.”
