Trump unveils Middle East peace plan with two-state solution, tunnel connecting West Bank and Gaza

President Trump on Tuesday called for a two-state solution to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, as he unveiled the details of his administration’s much-awaited Middle East peace plan.

Trump announced the proposal alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu during remarks in the East Room of the White House.

While Trump and Netanyahu praised the plan as a way toward ending the decades-long conflict between the Israelis and Palestinians, odds of the peace plan taking shape are long given that the Palestinians have preemptively rejected the plan.

"This is a great deal," Trump said. "And the Palestinians may not have this opportunity ever again."

One of the lies that I speak of was the slogan promoted by the early Zionists : "A land without people for the people without a land"
As this lie can be easily disproved by the historical record it nevertheless was the genesis that paved the way for a land grab that has created decades of conflict and misery.

First of all lets not kid ourselves, this so-called "Peace Plan" is yet another attempt to codify and normalize the continued ethnic cleansing of the Arab population, creating refugees, wars, apartheid walls, child prisoners, torched orchards and olive groves, illegal colonies, and demolished homes.

Secondly it is described by its authors (Trump, Jared and Ivanka) as the “Deal of the Century”. They don't give one wit about the politics, let alone the suffering of the Palestinian people, except as a means for further personal enrichment. I could write a whole book about how Jared sees the Gulf the land of full of real estate deals that can only be realized when MBS becomes indebted to Jared as a result of this deal.
