Republicans lean into Biden probe as he surges in Democratic primary

Source: Polititcal

Just hours after Joe Biden surged to the top of the Democratic presidential pack, Senate Republicans announced a new phase of their investigation targeting the former vice president and his son Hunter.
Senate Homeland Security Committee Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.) told reporters on Wednesday that he is likely to release an interim report within one to two months on his panel’s probe of Hunter Biden’s ties to a Ukrainian gas company, Burisma.

“These are questions that Joe Biden has not adequately answered,” Johnson said. “And if I were a Democrat primary voter, I’d want these questions satisfactorily answered before I cast my final vote.”

Johnson insisted that the timing of his probe has nothing to do with the election calendar. But the renewed focus on Biden, coinciding with his surge to frontrunner status, has alarmed House Democrats as they brace for an all-out GOP assault on Biden and his son over an issue that was litigated at length during President Donald Trump's impeachment trial.

Now the "investigative" sequel - Burisma starring Joe and Hunter Biden! Right out of the CONS playbook because it worked before, so let's do it again. In addition to Senate hearings, I would anticipate Barr orchestrating indictments and subsequent arrests.

Just like they did with Clinton, with Gore, with Kerry, with Obama, with Hillary. Anyone see a pattern?

Democrats, we need, we must wake America up to the republiCon dirty tricks, lies and distortions. Joe needs a rapid response team with muscle to counter these attacks. Every Democrat, every decent American will need to do their part to counter this vile bile. If you thought past elections were nasty, wait. The Cons will not let go of the White House without the nastiest of nasty fights. They have usurped the foundations of our democracy long enough. Let's show them this election, this time, with larger and larger record turnouts, that we, the American people have had enough. NO MORE!!!! Move forward!! Keep pushing on!!

I know for some states like CA and I thought even WI for governor? However, I'm not sure about US Senators.

In any event, we need employ voter recalls where we can: the "dark side" (meaning Rus-publican'ts) do this with some success).

Haven't been involved with a recall myself, but we need to turn every legal "dirty trick" against these thugs, criminals, and buffoons.

Trump has weaponized the DOJ and he will use the premise of his manufactured Ukraine "issue" to put pressure on Barr and the FBI to arrest the Bidens.

I would not put anything past trump to win.

I would also like to hear president Obama chime in. I'm sure MSM will ignore them but letting the fascists go down this road without a fight is a mistake. I wish we would have gave them much more hell when they pulled this crap on HRC.

It's orders from the very top. Namely, Vladimir Putin.

Can we start investigating Trump's family now? FFS the evidence is everywhere you look. And instead of the "corruption" happening halfway around the world, it's happening in OUR white house.

Well, Ron, we the Democratic voters have already had these questions satisfactorily answered.

As Donna Brazil recently said, "Stay the Hell out of our races."

Oh, and Ronnie, NO ONE is buying your claim that timing is not a factor here. NO ONE. ANYWHERE.

a VP son who was not employed by the government in any way getting a job using his dads' name and who did coke but who never hurt anyone or was convicted of any crimes.

VS

Ivanka, Don Jr. & Eric getting convicted in 2017 of stealing money from a charity fund meant for children's' cancer - they illegally stole money from grievously sick kids to use for the Trump campaign and profit themselves and Ivanka kept her role in the Trump administration despite being convicted (so did drumpf).

Whose actions caused potential harm to real people in America vs. who just hurt himself with drugs & embarrassed his family? I'm sure Bloombergs' wordsmiths could come up with something catchy and very pointed.

Make Traitor Tot and family pay for their crimes by removing him from office.

Remember about when the DNC was hacked by Russia the entire of the Ukraine internet/government was hacked by the same 'actors'. I bet the USA Republican party manages to dribble out some type of hacked paperwork to foment suspicion.

Republicans even have websites already set-up with the 'friendly Biden' videos.

America went from a President (Obama) who wouldn't even endorse a candidate in primary to this corrupt Republican government.

Outrageous WE PAY for government officials to spend all their fucking time meddling in the election.

There’s no such thing. Democrat is a noun. The phrase is Democratic primary voter. Learn English or go back to where you came from, preferably inside your father’s testicles.
