Trump says he sees 'no reason' to be tested for the coronavirus

Source: The Hill

President Trump on Tuesday said he sees “no reason” to get tested for the novel coronavirus but suggested he would be open to doing so if he were given such advice.

“I don’t think it’s a big deal. I would do it. I don’t feel any reason. I feel extremely good. I feel very good, but I guess it’s not a big deal to get tested and it’s something I would do,” Trump told reporters on Capitol Hill Tuesday afternoon after a meeting with Senate Republicans.

Trump said that the White House physician advised him he didn’t need to take the test, even though the president made contact with lawmakers who have since self-quarantined because they had contact with a person who tested positive for the coronavirus.

“I spoke to the White House doctor — terrific guy, talented guy — he said he sees no reason to do it. There’s no symptoms, no anything,” Trump said. The president added lightheartedly that reporters would be “the first to know it” if he had symptoms.

The selfish sob is probably hoarding test kits for himself and everyone in the WH. Probably makes them all get tested before he's in the same room with him.

Shouldn't matter if he shows symptoms or not. If the President was anywhere near a risk pool (and I'm thinking that latest CPAC qualifies as one), then TEST that fucker! There shouldn't be a choice. Secret Service should force it on him if necessary.

Protect the President. Duh.

Thinking about it - he says he's a germaphobe. If that's true - do you think he would go without being tested?

Now I'm thinking he's telling us he hasn't been tested because he fears if he says he's been tested that all American People will demand being tested - and we know two things: 1. there aren't enough tests out there to do that, and 2. he doesn't want the numbers up.

Also - he's says he's talked with the WH doctor. The WH doctor's job is to keep the president healthy. Wouldn't it be a dereliction of his duties if he didn't test Trump for this virus. One would think - as a doc - he wants to know as soon as possible if Trump tested positive - so he can begin to treat him and to initiate the required emergency measures in dealing with such a governmental crisis.

It is irresponsible not to test Trump and quarantine him if he tests positive for the virus. He is putting everyone that works in the WH at risk (i.e., secret service; anyone in his administration that works within that building; his wife; his family; the pilots of AF1 and the Marine 1 helicopter; Pence and Pence's committee dealing with the virus situation; etc). He's putting the American People at risk as our adversaries could take advantage of the situation.

We have a plan for succession of the president. Trump - by ignoring the obvious - is putting us all in peril.

Since Trump's IQ is only 79 (but it is a high 79, the highest in fact), he is immune.

... during the press conference. It reminded me of that video of the Iranian official that was sweating like crazy during a televised joint announcement about the coronavirus. The official did another video later where he announced that he had the coronavirus. It'll be interesting if the orange idiot goes missing for a while in the upcoming weeks.

worse than others, for lots of reasons. The main reason is that Trump is lying about a life and death matter and was trying to cover up his own behavior in that "life and death" matter as it directly relates to himself. Another impeachment please..

Doesn't he eat McDonalds and drink Coke constantly?
