CLEVELAND — As the number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the U.S. grows, so does the dire need for medical supplies for hospital employees.

The declaration of desperation from government officials has been heard nationwide.

Federal and state health experts are calling for donations of critical medical supplies to area hospitals.

“Gloves, surgical masks, N95 masks, face shields and gowns as well,” Dr. James Hill said.

A University Hospitals ICU nurse, who asked that News 5 not share her name, discovered an online listing in Northeast Ohio for the product most in demand.

“Specifically N95 masks which are respirators that kind of help reduce the transmission of COVID among our healthcare staff,” Hill said.

The get all schools set up to make masks, and anything else they can make. Also temperature guns need to be mass produced and given out free of charge to be able to be monitored anywhere we go but first watch closely the people working in critical positions, and our food producers and delivery people so the food system doesn't face a disaster there too. Many now are unemployed and could help make these needed supplies but also need to be watched hourly too , and need the money and the jobs. trump is MIA again , and nothing he says or does is helping when he's lying and spreading misinformation daily. Finger oxygen senors should also be mass produced and another easy indicator of pulmonary problems. Protecting our critical positions people are working in now need to be taken care of today , not tomorrow , and all the liars need to be called out at once for it , and removed from OUR government . The government should have monitoring guidelines for all businesses including any restaurants making them watch their temperatures hourly or face getting closed at once if they don't. trump refuses to do his job and instead spreads misinformation and lies. That's not making us great now.he's hurting us and OUR country. We need a leader so badly now, and he's MIA.

My wife took them both to our community hospital in Central KY late last night.

They were very happy to see her!

Buys in bulk to make it cheaper since " the masks are often used by construction workers on sites where there is a lot of concrete dust."

Talked to my brother, and he told me his company, Busch Products, were able to don't 1,000 N95 masks. Hopefully, more construction companies and maybe companies like ServicePro which use them can help stem the need a little.
