(70,381 posts)She is following medical protocol.
While this is his story and not mine, I wanted to let my colleagues and constituents know that since John and I have been in different places for the last two weeks and I am outside the 14-day period for getting sick, my doctor has advised me to not get a test. As everyone is aware, there are test shortages for people who need them everywhere and I dont qualify to get one under any standard.

(35,383 posts)But if she were tested it would mean she'd be suspected of having it and have to self-quarantine until the test results came back. That would reduce the (D) representation in the Senate.
While the incubation period is usually well under 14 days, cases where it was up to 23 have been reported.
There were over 25,000 tests done yesterday. 1/25,000 for one day isn't a big deal.
