Fauci Warns Protesters That Ignoring Stay At Home Orders Is 'Going To Backfire'

On Monday morning, White House COVID-19 task force member Dr. Anthony Fauci warned the right-wing protesters defying their governors’ stay at home orders that the economic relief they’re seeking won’t come if they flout the orders.


During an interview with “Good Morning America” host George Stephanopoulos, Fauci recognized the protesters’ frustration that the orders are “hurting from the standpoint of economics” amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

“But unless we get the virus under control, the real recovery, economically, is not going to happen,” the doctor told Stephanopoulos. “If you jump the gun and go into a situation where you have a big spike, you’re going to set yourself back.”

“So as painful as it is to go by the careful guidelines of gradually phasing into a reopening, it’s going to backfire,” he continued. “That’s the problem.”

4) When they show up to an ER or hospital with symptoms, turn them away and put them back in their stadiums...
5) Let them fucking die together and isolated from the rest of society.

One way or another, this virus forces social distancing and quarantines unless or until a vaccine is available or herd immunity kicks in enough to reduce the exposures and outbreaks and slows the transmission rate below the magic number 1.055.

It is simply math; and no matter how fervently they chant "Lock Her Up" or "Fuck your feelings", and no matter how many times Hannity or Limbaugh or Ingraham tell them all is well, nothing to see here...go about your normal routines...math does not fucking care.

They want to be irresponsible douche bags? Let them...but enforce upon them the consequences of their actions.
