Jesse Ventura weighing presidential run on Green Party ticket

Source: New York Post

Former WWE star Jesse Ventura has admitted he is considering jumping in the ring with a wildcard presidential run — only days after bashing rumors about it.

“OK, I’ve decided I’m going to test the waters. IF I were going to run for president, the GREEN party would be my first choice,” the 68-year-old wrestler-turned-Minnesota governor tweeted Monday.

“To be clear: I haven’t filed anything. I authorized a letter of interest that was sent on my behalf to the Greens and I’m testing the waters for Green Party nomination,” he said.

“I’m an independent. I’m not a Democrat or a Republican because I know they’re not the solution.”

Like he will draw away Biden support.

Anybody who votes for Ventura will be because their first choice, Trump, isn’t macho enough.

He won’t be a Jill Stein.

I can see Jesse Ventura appealing to deplorables more than Jill Stein pulled votes from among people with more liberal leanings in 2016.

Egotistical Fake. He ruined our City, and then the Sheeple in Minnesota elected this POS as Gov strictly believing his Bullshit and a hundred dollar tax refund.

with those refunds. The one useful thing he did was get the light rail project going, but otherwise he was an example of what can happen when you chase after the shiny object because you think the alternative is too boring - and his opponents from both parties really were pretty uninspiring. So all he needed to win was to be flashy and unconventional and hire a clever ad guy. Beware of the shiny object (on the liberal side - we have them, too - there was Michael Avenatti, who would have been just as bad if he hadn't been caught out as a grifter).

The United States has two Russian FSB-controlled political parties, the Republicans and the Greens. They ran Jill Stein on the Green ticket in 2016 because they knew she’d pull support from the Democratic ticket.

They will not under any circumstance run a candidate on the Green ticket who will dilute support for Trump, which is what would happen if Ventura was in the race.
