Reuters: Trump Administration Outlining Plans For Moon Mining

Source: Reuters

Reuters reports that the Trump Administration is drafting an outline for development and mining activity on the moon.
The Trump administration is developing legal plans to begin mining on the moon and create bases there with a number of U.S. allies, according to Reuters.

The outlet reports that the plans are part of a U.S.-sponsored international agreement known as the Artemis Accords. Mining lunar rocks and subsurface water could be converted to rocket fuel.

Reuters says sources say the agreement proposes "safety zones" to prevent countries from damaging future bases on the moon and irons out a legal framework for companies to own the resources they mine.

1. Consider post #3. All that's gold doesn't glitter.

2. There's a reason that the Chinese are so interested in the Moon. Technology and knowledge may be a goal for many; for the PRC, no less than for the Presidium of the USSR, knowledge is not a goal. It is a means.

Consider the goal of those means in the case of the PCR: Uighurs and Tibetans are not just two random accidents. 1619 is really quite ho-hum, even in its worst interpretation.

And have it exclusively used to house elected officials who commit treason. No media. No visitors outside immediate family. Have them cared for by robots and no other human contact whatsoever. That would be worse than any punishment I could dream up. (And not for lack of trying).
