A White man declaring “All Lives Matter” during demonstrations in Utah on Saturday was detained by police after he aimed a bow and arrow at protesters.
Video footage of the shocking Salt Lake City incident shows Brandon McCormick standing in the street beside his vehicle as he begins to prepare his bow and arrow to apparently use it on a protester.
Just as he begins to shoot his hunting bow, protesters dashed toward him and attacked him in a chaotic scene. It was not clear, however, if he successfully fired an arrow.
Another angle shows protesters hiding behind vehicles to protect themselves. After McCormick was stopped and attacked, demonstrators then smashed the windows of his vehicle and attempted to flip it over.

Brandon McCormick is a Salt Lake City man who failed thought he could pull a Legolas during the ongoing protests which have spread across the US after the death of a black man, George Floyd who died in police custody.

On Saturday, May 30th, McCormick showed up with a bow-and-arrow in the middle of a Salt Lake City protest, but the protesters surrounded and took him down, jumping on his car and, by some accounts, setting it on fire, according to viral videos of the incident.
Multiple videos show the man pointing a bow-and-arrow at protesters, who then surround and jump on him. One man comes at the guy with a skateboard. People also throw things at him.
“He’s shooting a f*cking bow,” says someone in one of the videos. “Get this motherf*cker, man,” says another person.

You can’t make it up. He’s back. Here is the guy that pulled a hunting bow on protestors, attempting to kill them before he was tackled. How is he not in jail?

A witness said the man drove up near a crowd of protesters at 200 East and 400 South. The witness said the man got out of the vehicle with a large knife attached to his side and pulled out a bow and arrow and attempted to shoot someone.
KSL TV cameras were rolling as protesters tackled the man to the ground. Police officers in the area pulled the man from the crowd and took him into custody. Shortly thereafter, a black vehicle which some witnesses said belonged to the man with the bow and arrow was flipped over by protesters and lit on fire.
Later, the man was again seen among the crowd. Police said he was no longer in custody, but they intend to screen charges against him.
