Russia is 'amplifying' claims of mail-in voter fraud, intel bulletin warns

Source: ABC News

Russia has sought to “amplify” concerns over the integrity of U.S. elections by promoting allegations that mail-in voting will lead to widespread fraud, according to an intelligence bulletin obtained by ABC News, again echoing a frequent and unfounded complaint raised by President Donald Trump.

Analysts with the Department of Homeland Security’s intelligence branch issued the warning on Thursday to federal and state law enforcement partners after finding with “high confidence” that “Russian malign influence actors” have targeted the absentee voting process “by spreading disinformation” since at least March.

“Russian state media and proxy websites in mid-August 2020 criticized the integrity of expanded and universal vote-by-mail, claiming ineligible voters could receive ballots due to out-of-date voter rolls, leaving a vast amount of ballots unaccounted for and vulnerable to tampering,” the bulletin notes.

“These websites also alleged that vote-by-mail processes would overburden the U.S. Postal Service and local boards of election,” it continues, “delaying vote tabulation and creating more opportunities for fraud and error.”

Could it be because they provide a paper trail? Or is it simply that they are trying to sow confusion, period.

Mail-in ballots make it easier to vote for both parties, not just one, so why does Russia want to dissuade people from using a mail-in ballot? This is what intrigues me.

Trump would likely lead early in vote tabulations. It would narrow by the end of voting day with Biden maybe surpassing him. Then, when the absentee ballots are counted Biden would win. If Trump can create enough distrust in mail-in voting he will declare victory immediately and then claim Biden rigged mail-in voting and refuse to concede.

It sounds exactly like Trump to me.

Must be a coincidence that Trump has been saying the exact same thing for months now. As we all know he doesn’t have enough brains to dream this up himself. Vlad has been blowing in his ear. This is so fucking obvious that Trump has been up to this from the get-go and yet his moronic loyal followers can’t see it.Unfucking believable.

The Russian campaign or the Trump false claims. One followed the other, but we may never know the order.

It is a concerted, coordinated effort on the part of the rethuglicans and russians to confuse people and call into question the results of mail-in voting which will likely be overwhelmingly for Biden. They know that. They are laying the groundwork for a challenge to the election. Between this and hosing the postal service, they are stealing the election once again. Hillary is correct: Joe Biden should not concede under any circumstances. This election should be decided after the baby-diarrhea-colored, ass-faced "moran" who occupies our White House is thrown out on his ass and Speaker Pelosi takes the helm.

for reporting the truth, like many others have.
Look for a new, rosy report. Or some disparaging comment in a tweet...
"they said some things I didn't agree with. Some people are saying they reported some really bad things."
