Graham: Senate Judiciary Committee will approve Barrett on October 22

Source: CNN

Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham said Sunday that the committee will approve Amy Coney Barrett's nomination to the Supreme Court on October 22, setting up a full Senate vote to send her to the high court by the end of the month.

"So, we'll start on October 12, and more than half of the Supreme Court justices who have had hearings were done within 16 days or less," Graham said on Fox News. "We'll have a day of introduction. We'll have two days of questioning, Tuesday and Wednesday, and on the 15th we'll begin to markup, we'll hold it over for a week, and we'll report her nomination out of the committee on October 22."

"Then it will be up to (Senate Majority Leader Mitch) McConnell as to what to do with the nomination once it comes out of committee," the South Carolina Republican said.

it could be shut down due to the rules that Schumer could invoke. I saw where there's a 2 day window to stop the vote. Go Chuck!

I heard that, especially if what's 'rumored' to be coming out about fat ass IS true, and I hear that a Mother Lode is about to come out about his fat ass within a matter of a few days to a week. This 'allegedly' is what Pelosi is waiting on. Waiting on to do what with, I dunno 🤔

I surely hope that this information is correct. I'm here for it, because that ACA-hating, cultish, farright-winged, Handmaiden's Tale-loving woman thrown onto the court would be a disaster.

Just makes the process seem so fair and not rigged. So awesome to know we have the conclusion already. Jeez why not just do the senate vote today with no committee hearings or general senate hearings?

Process where they simply listened, no questions, no witnesses and then voted to acquit.
It’s just a charade.

...that was my response. Zero chance that Trump would be convicted and removed by the Senate, zero chance that Coney will not be the next SCOTUS judge by the end of October...just in time to kill off Obamacare the week after the election.

I would say, “Over our dead bodies”should we give him money. That is incentive not to work. But has this prick ever worked? And WHEN his ass is kicked to the curb, he will receive a Socialists Pension and the very best Socialists medical care until the miserable prick dies. Can we just say Fuck you Lindsay, you get neither, “That’s just a promise made we can not keep.” Exactly what he said recently about SS and Medicare.
There is a treasure chest full of shit he says (Videos) that Jamie should be slamming the airways with.
He needs jail time, with Putin involvement. When all these GOP assholes get convictions those Pension need stripped, especially trump. Not another tax dollar for the criminals.

This is not due diligence. This is owning the libs. This flirts with dereliction of duty.

And it ignores McConnell's Rule 2016. And it's a rush job. What are they afraid of, why are they rushing? It's not enough time to write a term paper.

TV/internet spot:
"We in South Carolina believe in honesty and fair play" .... get a bunch of different
South Carolinians saying that on camera

"Now is Senate Graham being honest with the people of South Carolina and playing
fairly?"

South Carolina is 35% African American and 11% (and growing) Hispanic.

BTW same sort of TV/internet spot for McConnell in KY too.

There was major info about the mysterious money that paid off more than a year's salary of debt just before his nomination.

Which of course was either a BRIBE or TAX FRAUD or BOTH.

Hopefully an independent FBI White Collar division will investigate and then prosecute if appropriate so that Kavanaugh can be arrested and convicted in additin to being impeached and removed.
