Chris Christie calls on Trump to 'move on' if he can't show proof of election impropriety

Source: New York Daily News

Trump ally and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie said Sunday it may soon be time for the defeated president to move on.

“If your basis for not conceding is that there was voter fraud, then show us,” the Republican said on ABC’s “This Week.” “Show us. Because if you can’t show us, we can’t do this. We can’t back you blindly without evidence.”

The comments came as Trump has refused to concede to President-elect Joe Biden, who was confirmed as winner of the heated contest on Saturday.

Chris Christie said Sunday it may soon be time for Trump to move on. "Friendship means that you'll listen to somebody, give them their opportunity, and if they don't come forward with the proof, then it's time to move on," he said. (Carolyn Kaster/)

the blind? Total incompetence and total jacka&&es, all of these hypocrites, these so called 'republicans'.

They have made a mockery out of being fair and honest blatant double talk, such as nominating and approving a supreme court justice when they said before it was too early during an election cycle to do so in Garland's case.

Just watch them too, try and put Biden in 'his place' by denying him his choice of cabinet members and such, despite what Lindsey G. said, that Biden is entitled to his cabinet picks.

Like some other DU posters have said, Biden should put in place 'acting' cabinet leaders that the Senate can't approve because the nominees aren't placed before them.

They accepted Trump so they could pass their tax cuts for the rich plan and confirm conservative/rw judges to the federal bench. Well, Trump can't help them with that anymore, so, see ya!.

will either flee the country (which we can hammer them on for the next few decades on to win elections) or he will rollover on them and offer evidence of crimes they committed so he can avoid going to prison.

Christie changed his tune pretty quickly. I think it shocked the GOP how the country reacted to the Binden/Harris' win—even around the world.

There is no way the Supreme Court would overturn this election—they would look like crooks. And as such, there is no way the RNC would be able to scrape up money from donors to do their dirty deeds.

Lock him up.

...can say this - and let's be clear that Christie should rot in hell for what he did to his country - that Trump needs to take the pacifier out of his idiot mouth and face reality.
