Trump claims 'WE WILL WIN' election as GOP seeks options to block President-elect Joe Biden

Source: MSN/Daily News

Trump again claimed on Tuesday that he would win the presidential election, and suggested that more results are expected next week.

“WE WILL WIN!” Trump tweeted in all-caps. “RESULTS START TO COME IN NEXT WEEK,” he wrote a few minutes later.

President Trump is seeking to sow doubt about Joe Biden’s victory, and still exploring the possibility of clinging to the White House despite his loss.

The Associated Press called the race for President-elect Biden on Saturday after he won 290 electoral votes. Trump’s campaign is calling for recounts and filing lawsuits in several battleground states won by the Democrat.

I wonder whether they are going with Trump's original plan to simply arrest Joe Biden or the usual Trump/Republican strategy of just living in an alternate universe pretending that they won then tying up efforts in the Court to dislodge the Trump from the White House for most of 2021 sort of like the subpoenas for Trump's tax records.

We know Republican constituents will back this, but will most people sit idly by while Republicans destroy America and rule of law, since they control the White House, Senate and Supreme Court.

This goes to show why we can't just focus on the White House, because ultimately Republican control of redistricting at the State level, Secretaries of State, will create a ready stable of folks who are willing to entertain and perpetuate right wing delusions.

Trump can try to run from Justice, but Justice will ultimately win. Trump has no jurisdiction over the states because of that pesky 10th Amendment thingie in the US Constitution.

Is it propaganda when the Trump administration put children in cages? Is it propaganda that we can ignore when Trump is trying to strong arm countries into announcing investigations into Democrats? Is it mere propaganda when Republicans sabotage the U.S. Post Office in an effort to affect the election?

Simply ignoring the abuses of power and lawlessness does not mean that it will go away.

It’s not going to get to the point where he’s dragged out by the Secret Service. Also, these attempts to steal the election won’t work. I’m not worried about that at all. It would have been nice to have the GOP on the side of election fairness but we’ve known for a long time who Republicans are. Biden won’t be arrested either.

The Republicans in Congress are agreeing with everything that Trump is doing...the only thing between the end of the Republic and a dictatorship is the Joint Chiefs and maybe the courts...

enough fake material to have the SC hang their hats on it. When enough lies are staring the Justices in the face, then they can buy into it and rule for Trump to gain a second term. YOU AND I DON'T MATTER.

It doesn't matter what the black-letter law is, either. The ship has sailed on that. The only reason he hasn't simply declared the election void is because the Joint Chiefs told him that they would not participate in it. But, if the SC declares him the winner, and they refuse to keep him in there, he will replace them with more compliant leaders. AND WE ARE SCREWED.

The JC told Trump twice that they would stay out of it. And here we are. He is refusing to give up power. Call it whatever you want. Soft soap the shit out of it and pretend it's our "hysteria." Laugh it off.

But, this NOT a good ole boy determination to make sure the election wasn't stolen from *him.* It is a flat out attempt to declare himself the winner through subterfuge, so he can tell the world that the American people wanted him, but he saved the day.

Biden has done his bit for a peaceful transition, for making nice and giving everyone a chance. But, transition isn't coming.

I want to wake up tomorrow and find it all was just a bad dream. But, this national nightmare is just not going away.

Are they retroactively changing votes on their vapor voting machines? Where are the mail in paper ballots being stored?

They all seem pretty smug about their newly minted "count all the votes" recount and investigation bullshit.

Are they trying to make their election fraud insanity a self-fulfilling prophecy?

I'm concerned they are trying to tamper with votes already cast.
