Twitter uprising demands that Trump finally get kicked off the platform

Source: raw story

The hashtag #DeactivateTrump was trending Saturday on Twitter, apparently an organic uprising among the platform’s not-insane faithful to have the disinformer-in-chief sent packing when he is finally evicted from the White House.

for saying that police used rubber bullets against peaceful protesters. That's it. That's all I said. It was during a time when they were doing a major purge of anti-trumpers and I just got caught in the net. But you know, life without Twitter is actually better.

Did you read the post from rusytsgurl on DU?
She wrote that her neighbor atually attacked her! Because of the election. I was stunned to read her account, in General Discussion:

He'd be a "normal" like the rest of us. They may dick with us and suspend him off and on, but they are no longer stuck with the newsworthy BS of him being president.

If they do not, for whatever reason, I'd say people will be pretty upset and ready to leave the platform. It's of dubious value anyway. I never actually sit and watch on Twitter. I just see things people have posted and go take a look. It's far from newsworthy it's more just crowd controlled.

I like this idea but not sure it's a possibility.

I'd love to see the Fairness Doctrine reimposed - on outfits like Pox Noise and OAN, AND Sinclair and Salem too.

From what I've read, that's one very basic and essential tactic in wartime. Take down or otherwise disrupt the enemy's communication lines. He needs to have his toys taken away.

As of January 20th at the stroke of 12-noon, his presidential powers are taken from him. His presidential immunity will be no more. Farewell to his privileges and protections that are supreme and over-riding ONLY to The President. So long to all those free perks and guards lavished upon him by the American taxpayer and the force of the Commander-in-Chief and ready briefings on EVERYTHING and super-secret highest-of-high clearances. Bye-bye. Citizen trump will suddenly have NONE of that firewall that a so-called "pResident" trump will have enjoyed - and exploited.

If I were in the Biden administration, the first thing I'd want to do is make sure trump's wings are clipped in every way imaginable. And pull his passport(s) because I'm sure he has multiples. So he can't just make a run for it (to Crimea).
