'Keep looking over your shoulder, Mike': NYC police union trolls Dem state senator on Twitter

Source: NY Daily News

New York City’s biggest police union, PBA, sent a message to a New York senator on Tuesday, warning that he should watch his back.

With a measure of bluster, the tweet sent from the NYC Police Benevolent Association’s account was in response to an earlier post from State Sen. Michael Gianaris, who mocked the PBA’s attempt to influence a closely fought election on Long Island.

“Keep looking over your shoulder, Mike,” the PBA tweeted. “You had to bring in your billionaire buddies and your Pres/VP candidates to barely squeak by. How much did you spend per vote? And how much will you have to spend after voters suffer through 2 more years in #NoBailNY?”

The police union clapped back at Gianaris after he mockingly tweeted about the re-election win of Long Island State Sen. Kevin Thomas, who just days ago appeared to be destined for defeat, but declared victory Monday after absentee ballots were counted.

WTF

police should NOT be in issuing threats, and senators should not be poking police - juvenile and dangerous behavior

because of it. This was not "all in good fun", anyway you slice it. "Keep looking over your shoulder,", directed at at an innocent person by police, is a threat issued with the intent to terrorize.

in their treats because their fuhrer has led them to believe they are above any law or human decency. I will be glad IF accountability returns to our political and law enforcement efforts in this racist white supremacist oriented culture hailed as American.
