Barr had 'intense' meeting with Trump after AG's interview undercutting voter fraud claims: Sources

Source: ABC News

While at the White House for meetings Tuesday, Attorney General Bill Barr had a meeting with President Donald Trump following an interview with the Associated Press in which Barr disclosed that the Department of Justice has not uncovered evidence of widespread voter fraud that would change the election results, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell ABC News.

Barr spent roughly two and a half hours on White House grounds on Tuesday for what White House and Department of Justice officials previously said was a pre-planned meeting with White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows.

However, sources told ABC News that once Barr was in the building for meetings, Trump wanted to see him.

One source briefed on the meeting described Barr's interaction with the president as "intense," but would not elaborate on any additional details about the content of their discussion.

Just how long one individual with a fantasy is going to be able to inflict it on an entire nation.

On Inauguration Day we will be moving on. This person will be irrelevant as repair, rebuild, and renew will suck all the air out of the room.

Some keep asking if Trump really knows that he has lost. Of course, he knows! He’s just using his legal cases as a way to con people out of money. And the question about whether he will leave office when the time comes is just as stupid. He will leave either peacefully or be escorted out, but he will have no choice. Our media has gone to hell in the last few years. There are a few who still report real news, but very few.

Over the past several days, WaPo has had several articles about what her Christmas decorations say about Melania, why Trump supporters think Melania is the most elegant First Lady in history, where Jared and Ivanka will go after DC, what Ivanka’s political future will be, what Ivanka thinks about her women’s empowerment program that accomplished very little. These pieces are fluff. Who among WaPo’s subscriber base actually cares what Melania or Ivanka thinks? Media like WaPo still are catering to the Trump base. Writers like Jennifer Rubin and Eugene Robinson do not, but they are published alongside the absolute lies of Hugh Hewitt and a couple of other writers who are quick to justify anything Trump. Aarrgh!

At least, not one that continues to generate lies, threats, and exhort outright sedition and treason. Unfortunately we’ll always be plagued with recordings from all his many past rants. That’s now part of the historical record that we’re shackled to, from here onward. But I’m thinking of whenever it might be - that he’s no longer generating any new ones. That day will be a very good and healing day.

Trump's relevance is diminished, but it is still important and will impact us for decades. Keep your guard up, and stay engaged.

Trump becomes almost totally irrelevant on January 20th 2020 at 12:01 PM Eastern. But then he's still relevant. He carries state secrets in his head and contacts. He will be a security liability for America for the remainder of his life.

tRUMP would like desperately to overturn the election. And, will do anything legal or illegal to try and accomplish that. Barring (pardon the pun) that tRUMP wants to grift, KKKon ever $ out of his base. He will declare "I'm running for POTUS in 2024) and "use" the 150-200 Million $ he's scamming from his base to fund his lifestyle. Fly his tRUMP jet, hold rallies in places he hopes to do business, travel internationally under the guise of something or other. Turkey, Russia, anyplace he has sucked up to and needs to do business. Everything will be paid for by his sucker Cult base. When that $ runs low he'll keep appealing during "rallies" and then if he's not in jail in 2023 say he changed his mind and want's Ivanka to run in his place. Or if he's got a massive polling lead actually run. Just sayin...Follow the $ with this guy and it tells his plans and strategy.

When you lie with dogs, you get fleas. When you sleep with the devil you wake up with horns. I could come up with a few more metaphors for Barr's situation, but in the meantime, he should expect to be fired in the next few days, and/or have he and his family targeted by the MAGAS.
