106 House Republicans Support Trump-Backed Lawsuit To Overturn Election
Source: Forbes
A group of 106 Republican House members, more than half of the GOP caucus in the chamber, signed an amicus brief filed Thursday in support of a lawsuit backed by President Trump that seeks to overturn the election.
The brief is led by Rep. Mike Johnson (R-La.), who, in an email obtained by Forbes, told his colleagues Trump personally asked him to recruit supporters for the lawsuit, which aims to invalidate electors in four states Joe Biden won: Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Georgia.
The lawsuit was brought by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton and is supported by Republican attorney generals in 17 other states 6 of whom are trying to directly intervene and 10 of whom met with Trump for a private lunch at the White House on Thursday.
The suit claims the states electors should be invalidated because expanded mail-in voting due to the Covid-19 outbreak resulted in widespread fraud and irregularities an allegation that has already dismissed by courts numerous times.

Man, there are so many rules...I'd refuse to seat them in a heartbeat. Nancy is tough; maybe she should just tweet them to not bother showing up because she won't seat seditious members.
I did not know that newly elected individuals could still not be allowed to participate. But, not all these guys are new, right? If we take the Senate, can we refuse to seat McConnell??

'In an interview with The Hill, Banks, a staunch Trump ally, said the president taught us how to fight and win with an agenda that appeals to a popular base, adding that House conservatives must follow his example and carry the Trump message the next two years. '

He was unanimously elected to chair the Republican Study Committee today. I am honored to be chosen by my colleagues to lead the Republican Study Committee in the 117th Congress, said Banks. As the heart and soul of the conservative movement in the House, RSC is stronger than ever as we lead the fight for conservative values and push back against the radical socialist wing that controls the Democrat Party today. We will have our work cut out for us, but I wont back down from the fight!

He's a loon and a traitor, and I never fail to tell him that, but honestly, I'm swimming upstream here. Indiana is full of people like this. He gets re-elected with a 30 point margin. The reason Indiana is so red is because we're in hell.

He retweets Eugene Delgaudio's tweets. For good reason: Olson is the attorney Eugene Delgaudio relies on when Delgaudio is upset about one thing or another and wants to file a brief:
In over 30 states, voters have chosen to defend marriage as only between one man and one woman. However, the U.S. Supreme Court may soon rule against these states, striking down bans on gay unions and officially changing the traditional definition of marriage nationwide.
"[Our] 48-page legal brief filed in the U.S. Supreme Court this past Good Friday was designed to explain to the court that traditional marriage is an institution ordained of God. As such, traditional husband-wife marriage is not subject to being revised by a majority of the elite lawyers from Harvard, Yale, and Columbia who are now serving on the U.S. Supreme Court," explained Eugene Delgaudio, President of Public Advocate of the U.S., Inc., one of the many groups behind the brief.

There is not one shred of evidence. These people can't think. Party over country, I guess.
What's interesting is that they have to KNOW that the majority of We The People voted for Biden and reject Trump. Yet, they are substituting their own political agendas in place of the will of the people. This is sedition. And they have placed their names on public record!
I just don't have the money, but I would rent billboards with all their names on it under the word "Sedition." Or maybe, just "Voting to overturn YOUR vote." But, all their names in public, next to some public highway...
Sigh. It is so sad to see that Trump's technique of nonstop lies, without any foundation of truth, has befuddled those people that we assumed had brains.
If they think that we will not fight, they would be wrong. And there are more of us. The end result will be prison for them. Why oh why would they throw away their lives for a mean, sadistic, amoral POS like Trump??

(8,103 posts)and you have to rent it. I don't know. There's probably a company somewhere with a string of them.
They also have very interesting billboard trucks that can be rented, and then they cruise around the streets and highways, where they can be seen.
Graphic companies can also produce magnetic signs that you can apply to your own vehicle, and then you commute and display it that way. I was thinking about this, but I am not sure about attracting the attention of Trumpers to my personal vehicle. You understand.
