Moderna announced it has begun applying for full approval for its Covid-19 vaccine in people ages 18 and up.

The company says it will continue to submit trial data “on a rolling basis over the coming weeks with a request for a Priority Review.” A priority review asks the US Food and Drug Administration to take action within six months, compared to the 10 months designated under standard review.

I got my first vax over a month ago and waited an hour at a pharmacy. I went back a month later for the second, expecting the same wait and found I was the only one there.

I don’t think many in the US, at this point, are interested in getting a vaccine.

Both of my nieces are not interested, and I kind of feel that’s the attitude of those who are not vaccinated yet.

So I hope Moderna can help countries that really want it. Anti-Vaxers and those who just don’t want to be bothered are fools. The virus is still killing, and they could easily be next.

That'll be over 2 weeks since the huge vacation weekend we just had. I'm wondering what the case numbers will look like? Last year it marked the beginning of the "2nd wave".
If the numbers dont jump I'll feel a lot better. But if they DO, I hope its in those who are refusing the vaccines. I know that sounds harsh, but damn.

Mild sore arm, even less the 2nd dose. I feel confident that I got it, and I hope it is given the go ahead. It'll be one less excuse for the anti-vax crowd to blather about.

All the trumpers saying that they won't get vaccinated because the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines haven't been fully approved by the FDA will have to find a new excuse not to get vaccinated once they are officially approved. Wonder what their excuses will be now.
