WASHINGTON — The Department of Homeland Security is warning of a possible violent militia rally on July 4 in Washington, D.C., according to a law enforcement document obtained by Yahoo News.

The report, dated July 1 and produced by the Department of Homeland Security’s Office of Intelligence and Analysis, says that FBI reporting indicates that suspected violent extremists may be planning to attend a large public gathering for the July 4 holiday on Capitol Hill.

As of mid-June, a private social media platform contained a discussion from four suspected militia members about the “Million Man Patriots Gathering,” the DHS report says, citing FBI intelligence.

In the past 10 years visiting a Conservative forum daily, I have heard this stuff hundreds of times. Since these people never venture far from their comfort zones they are under the impression that they represent the will of an overwhelming majority of the American people. What I have never heard from them is what happens after their civil war. They all want to be patriotic heroes in their fascist dreams and the war is a goal in itself. Once the liberals and the minorities are put in their places, then the world will automatically be right. FBI and DHS analyzes hotel and bus reservations and noted that they are down 30% from normal years. Also, no large blocks of hotel reservations or bus reservations were made that could indicate a large scale event like a “million ‘patriot’ march”. Hopefully this turns out to be nothing, but it’s always good to be prepared and plan for the worse in situations like these.

I love how these supposed patriots want to overthrow our democracy so that they can impose their minority views on the majority of us. Don’t they realize that is contrary to what the constitution stands for? Oh wait, when they say they believe in the constitution and they’re patriots they only mean they believe in a loose interpretation of the second amendment that they think grants them unbridled access to military weapons.
