Andrew Napolitano out at Fox News after bombshell sexual harassment lawsuit: report
Source: raw story
Matthew Chapman August 02, 2021
On Monday, AdWeek reported that Andrew Napolitano, Fox News' chief legal analyst, has been fired in the wake of sexual harassment allegations.
"This comes after a lawsuit filed Monday by Fox Business production assistant John Fawcett, who alleges that he was sexually harassed in an elevator by the Judge in 2019," reported A. J. Katz. "In his lawsuit, Fawcett alleges senior execs were aware of the misconduct, but declined to take further action. Fawcett also alleges that Napolitano also harassed other male employees, but HR also declined to investigate those incidents."
The lawsuit also alleged that Fox Business host Larry Kudlow repeatedly made racist and sexist comments.

umm.. I did not know he was gay. No problem with that. But always amazes me that men think they can get away with sexual harassment.

(95,247 posts)I doubt there is one of their on-air personalities credible charges of this sort could not be brought against.

(7,611 posts)Of Larry Kudlow. Didn't often agree but he's very bright and on his old show was very tolerant of those he disagreed with. Following a twelve step program, I thought he understood human frailty. I could be wrong, but I hope those sort of allegations aren't true.

There is nothing surprising about the allegations against Kudlow.

Yeah. I'm absolutely serious.
I tried to be proactive and googled: Larry Kudlow racism. All it returned was an enormous number of cites to a statement he made about America not being a systemically racist country. If there is more I'm happy to be educated.

(7,611 posts)Then his own show on CNBC. Sort of lost track of him when he signed up with Trump, which was a disappointment. I didn't agree with him, but I always felt he was an intelligent advocate for the conservative point of view.
I really am interested in any evidence he was a racist.

(1,296 posts)because the whole purpose of the Fox propaganda machine is to defend a privileged status for Real Americans above minorities, gays, foreigners, atheists, and so on. The whole pitch of Trumpism is that if you're a Real American you can get privilege while others get punishment. Privilege is at the core of what the whole Christian-conservative movement is all about, so of course its spokesmen all turn out to be privilege-abusing assholes.

as a man i have found coworkers comments towards women offensive. some harassers think because it's a male they are talking to that their locker room comments are welcome.

(33,643 posts)another male that you know (or think) is gay ... is sexual harassment.
I doubt Napolitano is gay, frankly. But might he have harassed other guys he thought were gay? I could see that.
OTOH, he also called out Trump's lies VERY OFTEN and was hated by most Trumpists towards the end of his term.
Which makes me suspicious about these allegations.

I'm surprised he wasn't fired before this, though, because there have already been at least two suits accusing him of sexual harassment of other guys--IIRC neither one happened at work; one was about him asking sexual favors of someone he was offering to help with a court case because Nap is friends with the judge.
