US border agents in Tennessee have seized thousands of counterfeit Covid-19 vaccination cards

US Customs and Border Protection officers in Memphis, Tennessee, have seized thousands of fake Covid-19 vaccination cards so far this year.
“Every night” officers are seizing shipments from Shenzhen, China, headed to New Orleans, Louisiana, containing dozens of blank counterfeit vaccination cards, CBP said in a press release Friday.
The cards have spaces where the recipient can write their name, birth date and vaccine information. The cards also come with a US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention logo on the top.
“However, there were typos, unfinished words, and some of the Spanish verbiage on the back was misspelled,” CBP said. “How else did they (CBP officers) know it was counterfeit? It was imported by a non-CDC or medical entity, and this was not the first time they had seen this shipper.”

Vaccination cards were not designed to be long-term proof of Covid vaccinations, according to the Federal Trade Commission. Forging the cards is a federal crime, punishable by a fine and up to five years in prison for forging government seals found on the card.

sides of my vaccine card, took the copies to a shop that provides office services, had the images laminated , fits in my wallet, cost $3.00.
Only one problem. For Trump to be the Anti-Christ, which makes sense given how he's fleeced so many Evangelicals, and fits the role so well, he'd also be in favour of the Mark of the Beast as well.

I hadn’t thought of that. I created a separate mail folder for the link ca.gov sent me so I could find it quickly. I just did the screen shot and put it in with the folder with photos of my original vaccination card!

pass on my cellphone. It was issued by the Federal Swiss Health Ministry. It is good throughout the Schengen area. It has a QR code and so far as I know is impossible to counterfeit.
I also have the pass with the QR code in paper form and have printed out four copies just in case. I also have other documents issued by the clinic where I had the vaccines and the cantonal authorities, along with notes in my WHO/CDC International Vaccine Card, etc., but with no QR code.
What surprises me is that no one in the US - so far - even seems to be interested in seeing any of this proof. When I arrived here from Europe late in July, the only requirement that the CDC had was for me to take a Covid test within 3-5 days of my arrival. I had also had to take a Covid test and have a negative result within 72 hours of my departure from Europe in order to board the flights to the US. I also had to complete a ton of other paperwork because I was transiting through the UK. It was a major hassle.
My follow-up test was also negative. Thank heavens. But I'll have to take another test in order to board the return flights to Europe and complete another ton of paperwork. Thank heavens that most of it can be completed on-line.
But within the US, people seem not to care whether I am vaccinated or not, e.g.. on domestic flights, for medical appointments, or in stores or restaurants that I've visited so far.
The single biggest issue for medical appointments was the date I returned to the US. Fortunately, all my service providers have known me for years and I was also careful to book appointments no earlier than three weeks after my arrival. But - as is likely the case for all others having routine medical appointments - I have been asked to do as much of the preliminary check-in on-line as I can, to arrive approx. 20 minutes before the appointment time, to call the office number and let them know of my arrival and then to wait in my car until I am asked to enter, masked, of course.
I also continue to wear a mask whenever I go out and try to respect all distancing measures. I do not remove the mask when visiting others unless I know that they are vaccinated and are OK with my removing the mask.

This particular - somewhat lonely - existence will likely continue for me for some time at least, if not forever because of the $$@!! eedjits who refuse to get vaccinated. 
IMO, anyone who is importing or using counterfeit vaccine cards is a criminal and should be treated accordingly.
