Multiple funeral homes declined to speak to the news station, citing a recent crush of work. Those that did said their workload is higher than it was when the nation hit its pandemic peak in January. (6,238 posts)And their 7 day rolling average is over 21,000.
But the 7 day rolling average of deaths has dropped from 177 per day on 8/12 to only 20 on 8/25.
It's evident the state isn't accurately reporting deaths due to covid.
