Donald Trump knew that Joe Biden won the 2020 election but lied about it so he wouldn’t look like a loser, onetime Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told ABC News journalist Jonathan Karl in a call Karl recounts in his upcoming book, according to Business Insider.

Trump knew the race was over as soon as the major networks projected his loss, Lewandowski told Karl in a phone call just days after the presidential election, reports Business Insider, which obtained a pre-release copy of Karl’s book, “Betrayal.” The book comes out on Tuesday.

But according to Karl, Lewandowski said that Trump wanted to raise suspicions about the results so he could say he “didn’t lose.”

“He knows it is over,” Lewandowski reportedly told Karl. “He just wants to create enough doubt about Biden’s victory so that when he leaves he can say he didn’t lose and that it was stolen from him.”..........................................................................................................

Unfortunately there have always been insanely wealthy people (mostly conservative men) that are selfish and greedy enough to risk irreversible damage to this planet and its people for the sake of increasing their individual net worth even more. Examples would include corporate executives in gun manufacturing, defense contracting, banking, real estate, tobacco, alcohol, coal, oil, healthcare, television, media, food, and pharmaceuticals to name a few. And to make it worse, they pay lobbyists millions of dollars to continue the assault on the citizens of the world.

We have no way of knowing, maybe he did try to report this story a year ago. Maybe ABC stopped him from reporting it. Or maybe he couldn't get any corroboration at the time. Reporters must always have 2 sources for every story, or they have to keep quiet.

It's in his book now because ABC can't stop him from writing his own book.

We ALL knew (or suspected) this on DU a year ago, but none of us reported it. Yet here we are criticizing this guy.
