Two people were shot Friday in the parking lot of Hinkley High School in Aurora, police said.

Both victims have been taken to a local hospital, Aurora police said in a 12:22 p.m. tweet.

The shooting comes just days after six teens were injured in a drive-by shooting at a park across the street from a different Aurora high school.
