Romney campaign cancels all events for Monday and Tuesday.

Source: MSNBC

Breaking on MSNBC just now.

What's hilarious is that Steve Kornacki had just said that Romney's only chance was to not stop campaigning.

And then Alex Wagner read that breaking news.

he would only have a "crowd" of about 50 paid people on a sunny day.

This means that he can just look in the mirror and see a Finished Fool!

While Obama struggles to manage a major disaster, Romney will be getting a nice, rejuvenating massage and pontificating on how disaster relief in America is immoral.

I hope Obama can get one of those massages soon. I'll bet he'll need it.

Hate to sound crude here, but he's getting his shaft fellated and stroked and his scrawny pale ass kissed by his staff of yes men telling how great things are going.

As they clean up behind this storm Romney and the army of handlers and SS agents will be getting in the way and draining much needed police services away from helping those impacted by the storm.

All so he can get in that photo op. I'll lay money on that bet.

Bet he'll be in NC tonight or tomorrow morning, wreaking a new round of havoc on the communities as he works his way north.

Hopefully the media will point out how it is getting in the way of cleanup of the region. Not going to hold my breathe though.

I vaguely remember reading police had to be pulled off of cleanup and restoration so they could escort Romney around for those photo ops.

Only cancelling because
A. His pollsters told him it looks bad or
B. He's really too lazy to actually "work" a 5-day week.

The President forced Romney's hand on this. By going back to the White House and doing what a president should do. I suspect Romney will hunker down somewhere for the next 48 hours and try to sound presidential. Good luck with that!

Romney's decision reminds me of McCain's suspending the campaign in 2008 because of the economic crisis. To be fair, he would have looked pretty callous if he'd kept campaigning, but I think you're right about Romney hunkering down. I'm sure he's relieved.

Mon Oct 29, 2012, 01:58 PM
Oct 2012

It has to be awkward to campaign and not take any questions from reporters because that has to create image problems. Stop campaigning and that elimanates that image problem. Should Romney continue to campaign he would be plagued by his testimony in the Staples founders messy divorce a few years ago and his lie in Ohio about Jeep moving all production to China. Romney's only hope is to suspend campaigning and rely solely on his TV advertising. And that doesn't even mention his problem with Sununu's racist statement regarding Colin Powell's endorsement of Obama.
