Marco Rubio’s daughter released from hospital

Sen. Marco Rubio’s 12-year-old daughter, Amanda, was released from Miami Children’s Hospital Sunday evening after a golf cart accident Saturday.

“She is recuperating from a concussion,” Rubio spokesman Alex Conant said in a statement. “Her condition has stabilized and should improve in the coming days. “Her prognosis is good and she is expected to make a full recovery.”

All politics aside, as the father of two girls (now in their mid 20's), a parent's worst nightmare is when one of their children gets badly hurt. When I first read this article and it mentioned life flight, it made my heart sink. I just put myself in Marco's place and it is a very scary thing indeed. I am just glad she's ok.

Now back to the politics of trying to finish what Obama and his administration have started.
