see discussion under Sandy, no longer a tropical system. Lots of dry air making its way along the backside. Worst precip down in Baltimore and DC. Snow falling along the highest elevations in WV. Nasty storm, hope it keeps moving.

if that damn crane hadn't broken down in NYC they wouldn't have anything to be hysterical over!
\hahahahaha

I know, they have to treat this stuff seriously but it isn't the end of the world...I will bet (and hope of course) there won't be a single casualty from this little puff. (I love how some of these 'reporters' make sure to stand in 3 inches of water to show how awful it all really is....)

Nobody forced them to take it out into the eye of the tempest. Or did they?

Now that the Jersey Shore folks have packed up and moved on; you know the ''Situation" and "Snooky'' and company? Sandy has come a-knocking like a mini- maid. Salt water, perhaps is a good disinfectant. Sorry, had to go there.

My entire family lives on the Jersey Shore and it's where I grew up. NJ beaches generate millions of dollars during the summer for the state.
My mother lives about 10 minutes from there, and my sister, who has two kids and is 8 1/2 months pregnant lives a 5 minute walk to a major inlet on the Shore, so thanks for the joke.

Like maybe global climate change isn't a myth after all and that the kind of destruction these man-made storms are going to continue causing are kind of a high price to pay for our fossil fuel gluttony?
