Drunk man arrested after assaulting Obama workers, swore and threw change

A 71-year-old man was arrested in Naples, Florida for trespassing, harassing Obama workers verbally, and he even threw change at them from out of his pocket.

Police say that Gary Root was drunk when he stumbled into the Collier County Democratic headquarters shouting obscenities about President Obama. Workers say that Root reached into his pocket and threw a penny at them before leaving.

When police arrived Root was found in a neighboring establishment, still drinking heavily. When asked why he threw a penny at workers Root said it the penny was "all of the money he had left" after Obama taxed him. This is a statement that was recorded in the official police report obtained by The Smoking Gun.

Gary Root was arrested and taken to the Naples Jail Center where he was booked and released for a $1,000 bond. His next court day is scheduled for Nov. 14.

The man really doesn't sound like someone who pays a lot of income tax. I wonder if the guy is an alcoholic he might also be a smoker. I think the price of cigarettes may have skyrocketed after Obama became President as a phenomena of increases at all levels of government. (States and local government needed money.)

This is scary...I was screamed at where I live in Nothern Ohio at a Get GO...some guy with Texas plates...said Obama took away his medical savings account among other BS...I said that was not true and he shrieked at me ...called me a slut; this was one of the nicer things he said (Sandra Fluke only he didn't say fluke) Democrat. I had Obama stickers on my car...did this in front of my kids. I told him if you say one more word to me or come near me I will scream for help and have you locked up.
